Atrial Septal Defect & Ventricular Septal Defect
Atrial septal defect (ASD) and ventricular septal defect (VSD) are both common congenital heart conditions that involve a hole in the wall that separates the heart's chambers:
ASD: A hole in the wall between the heart's upper chambers, or atria. This allows oxygen-rich blood from the left side of the heart to flow into the right side, or vice versa.
VSD: A hole in the wall between the heart's lower chambers, or ventricles.
Symptoms Include:

Babies: Abnormal heartbeat, fast breathing, poor growth, and trouble eating
